Sierra Nevada’s Booziest Beer Ever Is a New E.H. Taylor Bourbon Barrel-Aged Bigfoot Variant


Sierra Nevada’s latest ale journey is seven years within the making. The model — identified for its “Little Factor” line and pale ale choices — is teaming up with Buffalo Hint for a bourbon barrel-aged ale this autumn.

Colonel E.H. Taylor Bourbon Barrel-Aged Bigfoot consists of the model’s signature Bigfoot Barleywine-style ale, aged for seven years. Over the past 12 months of maturation, the ale sits in barrels beforehand used to age a small batch of E.H. Taylor, Jr. bourbon, in keeping with an emailed press launch.
