  • 1 cup Uncooked Rice Flour
  • 1/4 cup Maida
  • 1 Medium sized Banana peeled, mashed
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1 cup Jaggery powdered
  • 1/4 Coconut chopped
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Methods to make Unniappam

  • Mix the maida and rice flour in a bowl.

  • Dissolve the jaggery in 1/4 cup of water and convey to a boil.

  • Fry the coconut items in little ghee and add to the jaggery syrup.

  • Add the mashed banana and blend properly.

  • When the combination begins to boil, pour into the flour combination and blend properly.

  • Add cardamom powder and blend properly to an idli batter consistency.

  • Combine the remaining ghee and oil.

  • Grease an unniyappam pan with ghee and oil combination and warmth over average flame.

  • Pour the batter within the cups and prepare dinner until golden brown.

  • Flip over and prepare dinner on the opposite facet.

  • Take away and drain extra oil.
